TBS 2.2.1 - Second Chance
Barbara stared at her files again. She already knew all of the details, she had it memorized after all. But she kept thinking that maybe if she actually read it again then maybe it would start making sense. She had to make a decision, she needed to. There had to be someone else who could join her team.
There were many people out there who would make a good addition to the team. There were many who would benefit her. There were many who had the skills and the temperament and the desire to be on the Birds of Prey. But none of them were right. There had to be someone perfect for the team.
Someone who needed this almost as much as she needed them. Someone who was ready to start over.
Barbara had lost herself once, and she had needed this, needed Oracle. This was her way of still making a difference. Being Oracle gave her that, and she knew that somewhere out there was someone who she could give that chance to.
