This week I am busy, busy busy, oh oh oh, hairdresser on fire. Not too busy to hang though. I did something pretty unusual last night. After the gig, we all hung out and closed down 70s Bistro. Felt good, and I needed to unwind after a tense set. It was Quail Quartet's first as a trio ... we are the only quartet that has had five and three members.

We'll be gigging a while as a trio, I think. It's something we're weak at, but we shouldn't be. As a drummer, it means I have to fill more space but without being more straightforward about the time.
