during forrestry class my lab partner Laurie offered to drive me over to social services for the price of a few bucks gas money;worked for me since I had to get going on applying for stuff. Get over there and was a bit overwhelemed by it all,started filling out the application,which was 6 pages of boxes,lines and rules.
under ethnicty they had the usally laundry list of choices and I put "white"
why do I feel like a loaf of white bread when I did that? I know bits of my family history and know for a fact Im not 100% white but I put it anyways to avoid any questions. After all I have no proof,*sigh*. I sometimes hate feeling bi-racial and not having any concrete proof other than some stories my mom told me which she all now takes back.
Anywhoo tomorrow is my next appoitment so things can get rolling,wish me luck!
