mail,rain and marrige
yesterday I got several boxes from my parents,burried inside was cable for my tv set(for use during the summer),Frodo's bedding(which he loves),coupons and some of my Addy AG items. Which was a total suprise,guess my mom had been reading my mind:p Great cause I really missed having her here at school(rememeber I took her home over Thanksgiving break to keep her safe). Becky misses Molly,it's so sweet and cute,so Im going to mail her back soon as I get my aid check;it's travling Molly!
Oh and I got conditioner in the boxes too,the good stuff:)
It's pouring! so much for my lab today,it's too wet and slippery to be messing around with the equipment and trying to be on target. Trust me it's hard enough in just the cold,in the rain it'll be impossible. Oh well I can sit back and enjoy my eccology class instead,maybe they'll be a video.
I continue to be astounded at the depth of non-support the American public has for gay marrige,in my eyes it's the leagl discrimination which could soon be decided by the Supreme Court or an ammendment. In my eye's Becky and I are married and have been for coming up on 3 years now,yes a domestic partnership is better than nothing but it can't travel with us if we move out of state.
To anyone that's against gay marrige,I'd wish they could spend a day or two in my shoes,granted most of the time I don't get shit anymore for being gay but it still crops up.Esp with my parents and I sometimes get odd looks around campus.
