I have been working this week on just getting myself organized in the lab. Getting the future situated.
I am going to be redoing parts of the lab website. I am pushing to get a new mediaWiki installed to be concurrent with the website.
There is always so much resistance from people from the simplest things and little resistance when the effects are big. I dont understand that. Are we/I that petty? I guess so.
I finally got paid. I ordered a new antibacterial mouse and keyboard on amazon as well as an xbox pc controller to play Risen with. I am downloading risen right now as I type. The workstation I use has an old style mac keyboard, the one from 2004ish. And its really fucking loud. I bet I drive the other guy in the lab nuts having to listen to my fingers going to town on the keyboard. That sound always ignores me when its someonelse typing.
Tomorrow I am going to go to yachats and go fishing with caleb. Lowtide is at 11am. I need to pick up a new uv bulb from the landlord who lives in florence, also.
I love oregon. so far so good.
