When I was 16, I had the opportunity to attend St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H. for the remainder of my high school years, on the "poor, little Indian" tuition plan.

I didn't go because I was afraid I'd miss my family too much and the male students would want to experiment, sexually.

My, how things have changed.
