Wheeee. It's like living in the future, except not.

I faffed about actually signing up for the lovely month's worth of Dreamwidth account that the lovely
foreverdirt/
happydork (mwahaha see me master simple new htmls) set up for me - mostly because I had the vague feeling that if I called this account something other than oppportunemoment I would suddenly post deep, sensible thoughts, or staggeringly beautiful works of fiction, or repeatable things about work. But how likely is that, really? And I like opportunemoment. And I'm opportunemoment pretty much everywhere else.

I do actually plan to try to post repeatable things about work at some point. Sarah D's Greenhouse Blog is so interesting and inspiring and full of fantastic news that I can't help thinking that a Working Partners version would be fun.

(I have gone and joined A Page A Day because I like to join things.)

(Comments will stay up in both places unless they don't for a specific reason... you can set up an Open ID and come and comment over on DW if you like, but as in general people in my comments don't tend to get into lengthy arguments about the hairiness or otherwise of each other's faces and things like that, I'm just as happy having comments in two places for the moment.)

And now I'm starting to risk being late for the first Sci Fi London talk and should really put socks on.
