Movie wittering
Having a film on in the background while you pretend to be writing things is all very well, and not too distracting under normal circumstances. But the films I find I really want to watch right now are as follows: Kill Bill, Spirited Away, Night Watch, Amelie, Advent Children.
They are all visually demanding of your attention and/or in a foreign language. Good choices, brain. At least I don't especially want to see Belleville Rendezvous, which manages to be silent and in French. I think that would complete the set.
Anyway. When in doubt: Sense and Sensibility.
