Is it just me, or should Shoreditch tube stop be somewhere near Shoreditch?
Apparently it's not just me because they're building one when they do the East London Line extension. But not before Saturday, which is when I have to get the cello to St Leonard's Church in Shoreditch for the ELLSO concert. There are two stations near there. It's Old Street and Liverpool Street. If my Dad's feeling kind he might give me a lift - although I'll be early and there's nothing to do in Shoreditch really except sit on the steps of the church and stare at the porn shops, which might be less fun than carrying the cello from Old Street. Afterwards he'll be at the CEFC concert in Highgate and anyway I need to get to Jessie's at some point so I'll have to go to Liverpool Street, but there is at least a bus...
... my life would be so much simpler if I blew ELLSO off and went and did the CEFC concert instead.
I'll have to think about that.
