Signs that Birthright has totally fucked with me...
-I'm now on an 8 am to 1 am schedule (as opposed to my normal noon to 4 am schedule that I love during vacation).
-Salaam has become the theme song to my dreams... yeh it's weird
-I wake up with the odd taste of schwarma in my mouth
-I walk around the island comparing people's hygiene to that of a camel's.
-I can finally say I've seen worse drivers than those where I live.
-Why is it everywhere I go there's karaoke, especially in places and times there shouldn't be.
-The 718 will never compare to the 052
-I miss having oranges everywhere and now really want an orange grove in my yard.
-I now know that the hasidim everywhere are odd, not just in Brooklyn.
Okay... so this really became more of a 'things I've learned from Birthright,' oh well. It proves but only one thing - I'm very sad still that the trip is over and I can't wait till the next time I'm in Israel (which by the looks of things may be sooner than I think).
