Hmm... I guess
So I saw Casino Royale for a second time this evening and, to be quite honest, I think it's the best James Bond movie ever. Seriously. I feel that Daniel Craig did a terrific job at portraying the book Bond, Eva Green (who I saw in another movie previously and thought she was terrific) was absolutely engaging as Vesper Lynd, really making her an incredibly great character. What really annoys me is how they could possibly top this. In all honesty, after Die Another Day, I felt that the franchise was over. Then I heard about this new guy and initially I did not like him. To boot, he was being deemed in the Bond circles, from what we heard from filming, as a very weak person (in real life) with many issues in doing the movie. A wimp? Unbelievable, my two favorite - Bonds, previously, Connery and Brosnan (yes, and only for GoldenEye) - were such badasses in real life as well as on-screen, but this guy a wimp? I felt that he would be a wimpy Bond as well. Absolutely not. This is the Bond we have all been waiting for. He is doing a very good job currently at redefining the character and I think he does a spectacular job of maintaining Bond's debonair etiquette as well as improving on his humor and thugness (yes, this is important). Anyway, I am tired and I need to clean up my apartment and continue with this project. Two more weeks until I return to the island and then I think I have a week and a half until I depart for Israel.
