Random teaser from the Dresden Files/Labyrinth (that's right, I said Labyrinth) story I'm writing. A-he-hem:
Mysterious anonymous client? Check.
Unconscious damsel in distress? Check.
Mutiny and general upheaval within the White Council? Check.
Pending Doom from the NeverNever? Check.
Sneaking into the heart of the Wyld and stealing from the primal-force-of-nature fae king who promised Warden Dresden Very Bad Things should they ever meet again in order to satisfy anonymous client, wake up damsel in distress, save the White Council from itself and head off the Pending Doom before it becomes Active Doom? ...Oh come on, man, why is it always me?
