1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, or your favorite kind of sandwich, maybe your favorite cat. Any remark, meaningless or not.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.
5. When others respond with a desultory comment, you will ask them five questions.
1. (copying, sorry) If some sort of natural disaster were to strike at your home and you had to rescue two things (people and Twonkys notwithstanding), what would they be?
My computer (can my iPod be attached?) and my purse. Those would be hard to replace, thus I'd take them both. Anything else that matters (Matt, Amy and my Twonky) would already be outside. Everything else is material.
2. What would you want your last meal to be?
A giant chicken-fried steak from an amazing Texan restaurant with a side of buttery mashed potatoes (kinda chunky yet) all smothered in white gravy and some delish buttermilk biscuits and corn on the cob. And I want butter. Lots of butter. Mmmmm. And Reese's peanut butter cup cheesecake for desert. Screw healthy, I'm gonna die anyway.
3. What sort of public display, demonstration, exhibition, whatever term you want to use... would be the worst thing for someone to ask you to do?
Ummm, I guess appearing in porn would be bad. It would go against pretty much all of my morals. I have no issue being naked for artistic purposes, but for exploitation of my body is just wrong. And for me, sex is a pretty private matter that doesn't need to be shared with the world, even for massive amounts of money.
4. What would be your dream job?
Next to just plain old saying "mom" I'll elaborate. I want to be a stay-at-home mom (with some creative hobbies on the side) eventually because I think that's an important part of my life's calling. However, until that point later in life, I'm liking the idea of playing graphic designer or something in that vein of the creative field (which I'm doing) -- just maybe with a bit more money coming my way.
5. What's your favorite sport to play, and your favorite sport to watch?
Play: It's a tie between tennis and soccer (kickball coming in a close second). Watch: hockey... definitely. But I enjoy a good Brewers game now and then.
