So I woke up coughing, had to pee, which got the dogs bouncing, so since I needed pills anyway I let them out, heated some soup, defrosted the A/C, let the dogs back in, and just then the phone rang.  It was my brother Squabby, wanting me to look up the recipe for skunk de-stinkifier.  His old kitty Plushie apparently had an early morning scuffle ( Read more... )

DogsMy dogs are being jackasses.  They both do this every month at PMS time.  Every time my butt hits a horizontal surface there's an eruption of snarling, rolling, leaping over furniture,  knocking over lamps, eating wood and paper and plastic, barking at leprechauns.  All in good fun for them, at least until the ape goes insane and starts yelling ( Read more... )

It's gray and rainy and clammy, some of my favorite weather. I found four dead leaves on the lawn during my morning toadstool patrol, so I guess fall is really coming.
