I use the
client Semagic, but there are two other ways. One involves LJ's web interface and the rich text editor. My advice there is, RUN AWAY. Or if you must, use the FAQ, 'cuz it don't never do right for me.
What does work is, on the "post" aka "update" page, or in other words,
here, I go to the "HTML" tab, then use this code in the typing window*:
Then I type whatever material I want behind the cut, insert images, or what have you, before closing the cut with
Make sure you get the hyphen between lj and cut. That's the thing I kept on forgetting when I first tried to figure these out.
The end result looks like this! Whee, huh?
