I just finished my meal which involved warm Russian black bread, British Cotswold cheese full of chives and spring onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. Super simple but ultimately quite satisfying. Dessert is a white peach that got semi-smushed on the walk home from Whole Foods.
My tummy is happy.
Besides that I'm not sure I've got much to report. I saw The Devil's Carnival on Wednesday in by the gents who created Repo! The Genetic Opera, in Baltimore mostly because it had Emilie Autumn and her Bloody Crumpets in it. Pretty fun even though I felt a bit like a duck out of water considering I've never seen Repo and know nothing about the fan base (and I ended with a "ringmaster" or VIP ticket, too). And, of course, I dressed up so the costume-viewing was fun.
Tomorrow I will go to the National Gallery of Art for the last day of Colorful Realm: Japanese Bird-and-Flower Paintings by Itō Jakuchū which should be nice. Sunday I'm hoping for no rain so the postponed Natural Health Festival (full of free yoga classes) will happen. It was postponed last week due to rain and this weekend it looks to be raining as well. What's up with weekend rain?!
Besides that I've got nothing to do but relax and finish Cat Valente's Myths of Origin this weekend.
