Hello Hiroshima, you are making me sleepy.

Had my intro to my Masters seminar on Global Citizenship through Hiroshima University today.
We did a general intro, a seminar on defining global citizenship (can it really be defined??) and a lecture on cosmopolitanism. Yep, and that's what I did until 5pm. After that I (stupidly) decided that I wanted to hit up the convini because the food here is just atrocious. Sadly, this place is on a hill in the middle of nowhere (about an hour outside of Hiroshima station) and it took me 20 minutes by bike to find a supermarket. And then another 20 minutes (or more) to chug back up that hill to get back. Ugh. I was sweaty, red-faced, tired, and a bit cranky. But then I was stuck at a welcome reception for another hour. The reception was fine but I was tired and a bit out-of-it after that bike ride of doom. Ugggh. I can't believe that I'm almost ready for sleep now and its only 9 o'clock.
Tomorrow doesn't look any better for me, sadly. I have a 8:30 seminar on international conflicts and peace. How in the world do they expect me to be up at 8am tomorrow, let alone be in class?? I hate mornings.
Otherwise than that, I'm still sort of looking at websites to try and figure out how to bloody well get an X Japan ticket since it seems like convinis are soooo out of the question. Argh. I wish I knew more kanji and knew how to use these bloody sites. I really need to book a plane flight back to Osaka as soon as I get a ticket so I can catch my connection home to LA... Rawr. I hope I can sort this out soon. O_o;
And now I suppose I should start some reading for the seminar on conflicts and peace or maybe for my later lecture on states, war and citizenship in the late-20th century. *sigh* Wanna sleeeeeep.
