X JAPAN: Night of MADNESS
Have you ever had one of those moments where you think to yourself 'if I should die right now at this very moment my life will have been complete'. Yeah, that was me last night except for the wanting to die part.
MYGODISAWXJAPANINCONCERT!! It was amazing!! I can't even tell you how many times I found myself crying because I stopped counting. No, really, it was that awesome. All those years of buildup and longing and finally, finally I got to see X live - floor seating of Tokyo Dome!! There was even a little monitor for hide to play on stage so he was there too, in spirit. Sadness, sadness, and bittersweet memories. Ah hide, even now we mourn your death.
As for the concert itself, I got to hear some of my all-time favorite songs including Kurenai, Weekend, X, Drain and Forever Love. Oh, and they played the new I.V. song and Sugizo came on stage and it was made of the awesome!
The only decent photos I got from my camera phone, alas.
My only pet-peeve: I got to the concert 2 or 3 hours early and they were sold out of almost everything!!! So all I could get was the only t-shirt they had left in the only size they had left (small, sorry Jerry - I did get ya' a Heath shirt though) and a cell strap. But otherwise nothing was left. I even stopped in early this afternoon before the last show but they were still sold out. GEEEZ. Well, I'm gonna check YJA and see what I can do about getting myself that black and silver parka....
Also, America get ready because I've heard rumors that X Japan is coming your way!!
