So I have good days and bad days with the whole law school thing.

Last post: bad day.

Yesterday: good day.

Today:...bad day.

We had a fake econ midterm, but since I've never had econ and its being taught by a PhD, I studied...a lot. And I thought I gained a lot of understanding. Then I got the exam, and the multiple choice part was ok, but i knew 5 of 15 short answers that we had to answer 10 of. And then in typical law school fashion, all my "friends" were "oh it was easy..."

So I went for a walk in the crisp fall air and got some Starbucks cider. I still thought seriously about dropping out for over an hour while I was outlining for Torts.

Yesterday was a good day because I got a compliment on my answer from a professor, and I actually volunteered too. I spent most of my time with upperclassmen and avoided the people that have been pissing me off. I also met with my negotiation competition partner.

That's another good thing. I was the only 1L selected to participate in the ABA negotiation competition in BALTIMORE next weekend, Nov. 4&5. So, Erin, I'm going to be out your way at UMd Baltimore. I don't know what my schedule will be like, but I know I'll have time somewhere in there to grab dinner or something.

Basically, I have many moments when I want to transfer to another school in DC. With less of a commute, different people. But there are all sorts of pros and cons with that that I will go into in another entry.

Anyway, its class time in 15 minutes. I should go prepare.

I need to make myself have some fun this weekend.
