Writer's Block: Prepared Answer

I don't have a specific question just a general question. I've always wanted someone to be interested in my past. I really think that my past has a big deal to do with who I am today and for a close friend to be interested in my past is to be really interested in what makes me me. Much to my disappointment, no one has ever been interested in my past. Even my therapist doesn't care. The only time I've ever been able to talk about my past is for my intake at the mental health center I go to and just recently for a psych eval for my disability request.

I'm always interested in other people's pasts and what makes them who they are. I'm not satisfied knowing just what I've observed of a person. I like to know what their earliest memories are, and what x-mas was like in their house and whether or not they were abused and what they did in grade school.

You know... I don't think it is out of the ordinary to be interested in someone's past... I'm pretty sure it isn't. I just think my boyfriend is socially retarded and doesn't care. I love him to death and he's a really good boyfriend in general it's just he's never been interested in who I am. It kinda pisses me off. How can you love someone so much but not be interested in their interesting past. I know a lot about his past and I like getting him to tell me stories about the stupid things he used to do in high school and middle school. He has a fucking masters in liberal arts and is like a fucking encyclopedia but he's just not normal. Well, that or he's just too normal. I don't even know what normal is. I consider myself normal but my history is extremely abnormal. Gosh I'm confused. You can see how smart my boyfriend is at his infrequently used journal at tristantzara
anywho... i'm out for now.

xoxo
