I really wish the 'keep going, push through it' practise worked with M.E./CFS.
Unfortunately is doesn't.

I also wish I didn't find it so hard to do just one thing at a time. Why do one thing when you could do two, is what I say. However pacing dictates that it concentrate on one activity at a time. It takes so long to get things done!

Another gripe I have is the amount of 'you can chose to be happy, happiness is a choice' crap that's floating round the internet and Facebook. To me it just sounds a little psychopathic.

If something bad is happening in your life then it is natural to feel bad, there shouldn't be this attitude that if you're unhappy it's your choice to be that way I mean WTF!
It' almost like these 'happiness is a choice' people have convinced themselves that bad things don't happen and if they pretend they don't happen then it can't effect them so please don't rain on their parade with your real life depressing shit.

I'd rather be whole person. I'd rather feel the bad and acknowledge and accept it then the good will be all that much sweeter.
