Feeling like I'm getting a cold or something and it's knocked me right back on my arse. Arse!
SPOILERS FOR DOCTOR WHO....
Been watching Doctor Who, got to say I'm not impressed. I really can't see what all the fuss is about. The stories are predictable 90% of the time, the girl who plays Amy constantly has a 'deer in the head lights' way of acting. Most of the stories seem to revolve around Amy and Rory who one or the other usually gets seperated from the Doctor...boring!
I think they've completely ruined the River Song character, I mean for goodness sake Amy in no way shape or form helped raise Mels in fact Amy did it was a pretty bad jobif she did raise her because all Mels seem to do was get in trouble. I'd like to know who were Mel's actual parents because it wasn't Amy, as they were obviously school friends, but Mel's had to go home to a family at some point.
Also It's just a bit squicky to me that it turns out Amy's daughter has been shamelessly flirting with the Doctor all this time.
None of the actors seem to have the depth or weight to their performance that Chris Eccleston, David Tennant, Billie Piper or Catherin Tate had.
The T.A.R.D.I.S looks like it's made out of cheap plastic with light up windows. There have been hardly any interior T.A.R.D.I.S scenes and barely any alien planets. I'm starting to think they've had their budget seriously slashed because it's just a bit crap now frankly, if they have it's a very stupid thing to do to their flagship show. It feels like it should be on childrens tea time telly during the week.
Anyway, apart from lamenting the demise of my love for Doctor Who, I've been reading the atlantisbigbang stories. So far my favourites by far are 500 Miles by Atlantis_Jackson and Merrov
and Keri by Rinkafic, absolute corkers! They're the kind of fics where you get to the end and just go NOOOOOO, please don't end I want more.
