Title: Black Dirt
Subject: Original | Unnamed OCs
Rating: PG
Summary: A demon, a white woman, a shifter.
Notes: Prompt was A supernatural creature other than vampires & werewolves. Really uninspired today.
01; Demon
It takes her, becomes her, fills her up with poison and sin and watches through her eyes. She's simple, she's easy to mimic, nobody suspects a thing, nobody suspects she's trapped in her own mind, screaming and crying and crying, she loves to cry, she loves to bargain like she has something to bargain with. She had said I won't tell anyone once, like anyone would believe her. It had ignored that, ignored her and held her hands under boiling hot water for a little longer than perhaps necessary. It teaches her just who is in control, and she just cries.
02; Woman in white
Some people are intrigued by her, they stand and stare and hold out their hands, cock their heads and sometimes they ask if she's okay. She can't talk, but she wishes she could, wishes she could tell them not to be so selfless, not to worry about her.
Some people know what she is, they scream and they cry and they say no, like you can hold off Death by just saying no. It never works and their screams echo in her mind, a Pandora's Box of people she tried to warn.
03; Shapeshifter
He starts his life as a boy, a boy loved and cared for. At other points in his life, he's been animals, wolves and dogs and birds and whatever he felt. He's been other people, his father, his mother, Marilyn Monroe. Very rarely has he ever been himself.
These days, he's Alice, the neighborhood cat lady, always nice, always ready to help, always ready to chat. Nobody knows any of the truths; the truth of who he is or the truth of the war happening in their very neighborhood.
