Day 15: Slacking in Milwaukee

Jun 17, 2009 22:11

Evidently, I needed some rest. Yesterday was a slack day and today followed suit. JP ended up sleeping in as well and we both woke to have breakfast pizza together. An intriguing concept that was very tasty.

Most of the day I lounged around until mid afternoon when I was finally motivated. JP has two beautiful dogs that leave beautiful amounts of hair everywhere. So, I took the initiative and cleaned JP's house. I figured this would also help with my allergies. It has.

When JP returned home from work, he was pleasantly surprised at the new state of the house and we went to the gym. I had a great workout, something I have been unable to do since NYC. I have a pass for the rest of the week while I am in town, so I hope to go again.

After the gym, we met up with a couple of JP's friends, two guys I met when I came out to Milwaukee the first time for my audition. We went to this local mexican place called "Burrito Bueno." The food there is quite good, but the main appeal was the $4 margaritas in Lime, Strawberry, Peach, and Raspberry. I had the Raspberry while all the others had Strawberry. It was awesome, especially for $4. We ended the meal with an order of sopapillas, something not on the menu but the lady said she could make. I will be going back to this place for sure.

After dinner, we returned home and to relax before bed. I think I am finally rested enough to get out and do stuff tomorrow.
