So I finally got around to watching the first ep of Doctor Who Season Six last night (yes, almost a week after it aired. I fail). And I realised something quite terrible - I don't care anymore. The episode had hilarious dialogue and really scary aliens and a very confusing plot, but... I don't feel emotional attachment to the characters anymore. I ( Read more... )

That sucks when that happens. I've had that 'I don't care anymore' feeling get better before, so there's a chance. Otherwise you might just be at a different point where different things matter to you. That can be fun as well, new life experiences, new fandoms.

Also I lost my links for the second Kuro musical before I could finish it :( Where do you watch/download it?

Yeah, I think I'll just go through this season, see what happens. I don't think I ever want to stop watching Doctor Who, but it's hard when there are no characters I'm interested in.

That's lame. :( And, heh heh, I haven't actually watched the musical - I've watched the songs and read through picture summaries, but I havne't watched it because I don't speak Japanese and it hasn't been subbed. I have, however, found a download for you - here. :)

Yeah, I get the issue with the characters, it's hard when you're working with a changing cast in a long running show. See how you go though, it may work out :)

Also YOU ROCK for finding me a download :) My Japanese is bad but with knowledge of the story and my horrible language skills I do ok hehe. I'm going to go find these picture summaries and see if I'm right about what's happening as I go along :P Thanks!

Yeah, it's getting better now - I guess they just needed time to get into the swing of things.

Heh heh, thankyou! I've found another download as well for myself (I didn't use that one because I don't have a torrent opening program), so I've finally watched the musical now - it is so fabulous. My Japanese is practically non-existent (although I'm learning) but yeah, you can get by. Oh, and here is a link to the picture summary I used. :)

It sucks when that happens. I find that it happens to me when my favorite character leaves the series. My favorite sidekick was Rose. When she left the show didn't interest me as much. Also, the episodes I've seen since that season have included creepy ass monsters that I dont want to know about. XD That could have something to do with it as well.

I loved Rose, was gutted when she left, and disliked Martha, but I stuck through it because I loved David Tennant's Doctor (and I was glad I did, because then we got Donna and she was made of awesome). So if there's at least one character I like, I'll stick with it.

And yes, Doctor Who has been full of terrifying monsters lately - I just watched the latest episode and HOLY FREAKING SHIT SCARY ALIENS YOU CAN'T REMEMBER. But it gives me something to be interested in, since the characters aren't doing it for me.

Rose was awesome. And one of my favorite singers I might add!

But as for the monsters, I prefer not to be scared out of my pants, thankyou very much.

ALSO. Aim?

Rose was full of awesome. I haven't heard much of her singing, though.

Well, I find the Doctor always saves the day in a fabulous fashion, I think that helps.

YES, OF COURSE. /ninjas away

Sometimes I get that feeling for just one day. Mind you, that's usually when I'm watching the 2:30 am re-runs and all I can think about is sleeping.

XD It seems to have been a temporary thing - I watched the next episode and am feeling much more enthusiastic about the whole thing - I love Rory, and Canton was amazing.

Thank you! I currently have 3 Who icons. Canton is glorious. Just glorious.

Welcome! :) I've just realised I have no Who icons (though I have some Torchwood ones), which is a shocking state of affairs and must be remedied.

Canton is magnificent, yes. I demand to see more of him.
