(no subject)
So I finally got around to watching the first ep of Doctor Who Season Six last night (yes, almost a week after it aired. I fail). And I realised something quite terrible - I don't care anymore. The episode had hilarious dialogue and really scary aliens and a very confusing plot, but... I don't feel emotional attachment to the characters anymore. I want to know how this plot works out because I'm curious how it resolves itself, not because I particularly care about how the characters end up. They just don't interest me anymore.
This may not seem like a huge deal, but Doctor Who has been a huge thing for me since the first episode of New Who, and I've always loved it muchly, and to see it taken in a direction where I just don't care about the characters anymore... it makes me sad. But who knows, maybe it'll get better.
On another note, I'm having a massive obsession over the second Kuroshitsuji musical, due mainly to the kickass songs and Alan's gorgeousness.
