My grandma saw Violet today and asked with disdain if she's going to go around wearing THAT during the school year. THAT being a pink Hello Kitty shirt that we found in the men's section of Target that fits like a dress on her. It doesn't hang inappropriately off the shoulders or anything, it just goes down to her knees. She always wears shorts under it anyway. I fail to see the problem. "She looks homeless! That's not a dress! If she wants to wear a dress, you need to buy a proper one!"
lol, this is just like her outrage about mismatched socks all over again. No doubt she'll be on the phone complaining about it to Gene tonight.
Of all the things to get so twisted up about! As long as my kids are covered appropriately, they can wear what they want. Not to mention that tshirt dresses ARE a thing, so it's not even unusual. She has a comment if Miles wears pink or purple too. Sorry, but that's not how I roll and I refuse to hear commentary about it.
