Dawn came and went, but Buffy kept imagining the look in Lindsey’s face when he discovered their surprise. He’d looked shocked enough when he’d been allowed to walk out of the Hyperion. “Bet he won’t see this one coming,” she said again, laughter ringing in her voice.
“Nobody ever suspects the werewolf,” Angel chuckled from beside her.
She was still surprised at her lover’s acquiescence with Oz’s plan. But perhaps she shouldn’t be; he had a reputation for originality, after all.
“A computer virus!” she giggled, thinking of Lindsey’s pains to explain its source. “Cyberspace evil-fighting is so much fun!”
