A guy didn't spend a decade reading a girl's every expression (Was she going to insult them or walk by? Was she going to ignore Jesse or tease him?) and then forgot that information just because he was making out with her.
Cordelia's eyebrow snapping up, added to her lips opening slightly before she pulled them back together, had Xander turn around to check the source of her shock - and was confused by it. "Cor? That's just Buffy and…." Angel's coat opened further, revealing that Buffy's arms were elbow deep up Angel's shirt. "Oh." He blinked. "Could we do that?"
