it's the vampire's 'sacrificial' way to go...

Definitely - after all that time in darkness, it takes courage to step out, but I think the sun has a fascination and a warmth that's enticing.

That first time we see him bathing in the sun at W&H offices through the special glass - he wants that sun, I believe, and in a way it's good to think he gets it, even when dying. Thanks for commenting!
