Thanks! I wanted to fiddle with the difference in attitude between Buffy's irritation at Kendra and Faith, everything that went down at the end of Season Five and beginning of Season Six, and how, with the activation of the Potentials, suddenly the thing that defined her for so long changed so dramatically.
How could I possibly trash your first post when you have a Dalek for your icon (that totally wins, but the way)? I'm afraid I'll just be . . . you know, the E-word. I'm a dork, yeah I know
I'm not sure how I feel about "Season 8," but I like how you handled it with the prompt. Nice look at the "new" Buffy. Slaying isn't something you can just drop and expect everything to go back to normal.
Yeah, I'm excited, but at the same time, the show ended so finally; I'd rather have Buffy just finish than continue limping along. (On the other hand, the list of writers is awesome, so.)
Yeah, I think the whole "death is your art" thing was pretty clear. I know Buffy is all, "I wish I were normal!" but if she got it I think she'd do badly.
One of the plot bits I really liked was Dawn and Xander's conversation at the end of "Potential" -- it's like, yeah, being sacrificed by a goddess sucks, but not being special is hard, too.

That was one of the most beautiful moments in the whole series for me.

Eeee, even if the rest is terrible, Brian K. Vaughn will be writing for Faith, and that fills me with the utmost fangirl glee!
