Tipping the Scales

When he'd hunted alone in the streets of L.A., broadsword in hand, he had been seeking redemption; punishing those who did evil, rescuing those who needed saving.

But he couldn't save everyone, and sometimes he couldn't stop the evil until the damage had already been done.

He'd been given what he called an opportunity, and thought of as a deal with the very devil. But it was a way to continue the fight.

Soon paperwork, rules and regs, proper procedures and demon etiquette tipped the blind woman's scales. He couldn't afford to be just; he had a business to run.
