Who's the fairest of them all?
Drusilla swirls her fingers in the water, breaking the image into pieces. It isn't fair; why should the stars be allowed to gaze upon their reflection when she is denied? She's been told that she is beautiful, but words can't soothe the ache in her heart. She needs to see.
Finally, she has found a way. Soon she will be able to admire her white skin and her lovely, long dark hair, and look deep into her beautiful yellow eyes.
She reaches out and caresses Dawn's cheek. "Wake up, little one," she whispers. "Mama wants to look in her mirror."
