I apologize for not being as engaged or sympathetic as I could be at your understandable indignation about the price of... whatever it was you were complaining about... these days.
Yes, the dollar increase (since the price last November) you'd noticed in whatever item you had is obviously a hardship.
I was simply distracted by your Louis Vitton handbag and the fact that I'm working two ten-hour days when I should be writing papers and studying for tests. I might have also been a little flighty because all I'd been able to afford food-wise that week was the rice and pasta I had hoarded in my cabinets.
I'll endeavor to be more sympathetic in the future. Best of luck getting a deal on your next Gucci sweater.
