"Hey, (insert random deity here), I was wondering if you could find any more afflictions for my dad. Between the stroke, heart attacks, diabetes, Parkinsons, clinical depression, Alzheimers, and several others that slip my mind at the moment, I don't feel like that's quite enough. I mean, yes, I know that his hands shake so badly he has difficulty eating. That he gets confused constantly and takes twice as long as most people to completely a sentence. That he forgets things constantly and often loses a temper he's never even had before. That he can often barely fucking walk. That's not quite enough, is there anything else you can think of that might help?"
"How about if he has such bad sleep apnea that he wakes up multiple times every night from night terrors, unable to breath and certain that he's dying? To the point where he hallucinates during the day and gets so disoriented that he doesn't know where he is? Would that help?"
"Yes, that would be perfect. Thanks, I appreciate it."
