Promotion
Conversation with my DM and I today:
DM: "Your never at the store when I come to visit. I need to sit down with you and talk about a pay scale and your new promotion and transfering to Carrollton."
Me: "What?" ::utter confusion and then joy:: "You mean I got the position of Assistant manager in Carrollton?"
DM: "Yea. I told David(my store manager) to keep it secret but when all the managers came to help clean up the store there, they all knew"
Me: "So David told everyone except me? Wow, well I'll mail you my schedule tonight so we can sit down sometime and talk."
Holy Cow! I got a promotion! More money...still to be discussed but still more money, more hours...and I'll be at the new store that is opening up in Carrollton. I like the store manager (David) who is going to have the store and I'm stoked.....weee.
