I spent most of today on the phone trying to sort out who is skiing with me this weekend and who will need lift tickets. Most of those conversations consisted of both of us shrieking "Yay snow!" but I did manage to get a good idea of what's going on.
Every year I compile a list of people I want to ski with but this year's list is depressingly short. I barely managed to come up with dozen names and one of them is moving in January and two others are trying to sell their house so they can move as well. Most of my circle has headed out west but I'm just not ready to follow suit.
I quit my job yesterday (and wow, did that cause some drama) so I have the entire weekend to spend outside.
I can't wait.
