(no subject)
I spent yesterday on the water. First I went kayaking with a buddy of mine and his dad and we had a great time. I'm getting good enough at kayaking that my equipment is starting to hold me back. :) Next time we go I'm going to try one of their much shinier kayaks and see what I can do with it.
Later that night I went into town to meet up with the same buddy. We went down to the lake, sat on the dock and talked for a couple of hours. It had been hot all day but there was a nice breeze coming off the water and it was just beautiful. We didn't have any plans beyond meeting up at some point that evening; as it turns out that was exactly what I wanted to do.
I don't think I'm ever happier than when I'm outside with someone I love and nature is making itself obvious to us.
