(no subject)
Went down and watched some of the filming today. They where filming the opening scene. Apparenly they filmed the closing scene yesterday. From what I am told, the guy from Monk isn't in the film - they had wanted him to read for the part but it didn't work out (gotta love town gossip). Most of the actors are local. The guy being filmed today is a local actor from Poulsbo I think. He's 81, nearly blind and deaf and has a hard time moving - perfect for the part of the blind crippled old man. They where going to have him floating out in the water but decided it would be best to get a double (it be freezing out there). There was one zombie on set today. He's the cause of all the trouble. Poor guy had to spend most of the morning laying on the beach. The beach here is not pretty and its cold and wet. I don't think the makeup was the only thing making him pale.
