(no subject)
Today was uneventful, but productive. Wait, I take that back, after I cleaned the bathroom around 3am this morning, our landlord from upstairs knocked on our door around 5am, frantic about water leaking down into the first floor apartment. Apparently puddles are really bad in this old building, no matter how brief. We assured her that we would try not to let it happen again. I will have to find another way to rinse the bathroom.
Mom wants me to go look at a car for her in Elmhurst tomorrow at a sleazeball of a dealership - hope they aren't in for a burning. The car is just too nice for them to pass it up without at the very least having it checked out by a third party.
Shoulda applied to Irvine instead of Davis... but Wiley says that California would be tough for him, being a New York lawyer....no reciprocity, and the hardest bar exam in the nation. Truth be told, I am not really all that keen being so close to LA...
I gotta do something outside of this apt. soon. Gotta keep working, though, get stuff squared away.
