I saw Avatar this past weekend and was thoroughly impressed. I was so excited to come home (I was on vacation) to check my f-list since you guys are usually way more up to date than I am. I just assumed that everyone would have already seen it, would be raving about it and I could continue my inner sqeeing at home. I was shocked to see that really, no one on my f-list has said much about the movie.
After seeing it, I was sure that a huge fandom would start developing, but I'm surprised that there isn't a plethora of Avatar fanfics already out there. I want so much for this world to continue outside the movie that I actually visited fanfiction.net. Yes, I was that desperate. Well, this is my plea to you LJ, to very quickly develop a huge Avatar fandom inclusive of awesome fics so that I can continue to get my Avatar fix without shelling another $15 to see it in 3D.
