Rollie told her for certain that morning, while she was on her hands and knees, sorting through supplies in the second clinic. It had taken twenty four hours for the result to come through, which mean that Lily hadn't slept and was in the middle of stifling a yawn when Rollie came in behind her. Lily hadn't wanted to trust her gut because she wanted it so much, and she knew that Eddie wanted it too.
She hurried back to the hut where she knew that Eddie and Emmy would be having lunch. Somewhere along the path she burst into tears and she was just getting herself under control again as she walked into the hut.
"Eddie?"
