Choosing a paper topic for my Animal Neuroscience class from a list of symposium speeches...

Or should I say, avoiding the above. It's so warranted though! I'm perusing the abstracts from the bottom up so that something the teacher hasn't received a paper on yet might catch my eye, and after reading, say, twenty of these exciting little summaries, I check the scroll bar only to find that I've made it maybe a tenth of the way up. Nothing fascinating... so I've resigned to having to choose a topic that is more complicated than I like, studied on a species less interesting than I prefer.
Still, little entices me...
I absolutely will not write anything about fucking Drosophila melanogaster.
...nothing with the word "dentrites" in it...
Gah! give me -behhaaavior-.
This choosing is not going so well. Especially when I continually receive texts such as, "You like boom, I like boom, enough small boom let's boom the boom!"
Perhaps the universe is trying to inspire me.
