BIRTHDAY SQUEES! :3

The past few days have actually been surprisingly eventful - the prime reason why I'm only getting to post this entry now. XD Let's seee... I went out with my friends Thursday night for a pre-birthday dinner in TGI Fridays. T'was AWESOME!! <3 It was just seven of us in total, but to me that's the perfect number - not too few, not too many. The food was delish, and we all ordered dessert, despite the fact that we knew there would be cake. XD Yeah... I regretted that later when I essentially waddled out of the bar with a painfully stuffed stomach. BUT OMG GUYS. The cake. THE. CAKE. D: My mother has reached a whole new level of awesome.
LOOKATIT!! 8D It's a god damn GIANT CUPCAKE!! XDDD *flailjumpsquee* I swear I almost flipped when the waitresses showed up with it! And yes. I was forced to endure the whole restaurant singing 'Happy Birthday' to me - much to the everlasting amusement of my friends. :| Though I've pretty much come to expect that from my mother by now every year... And considering the fact that when we arrived, the table already had 21st Birthday balloons set up all around it, I could sort of see it coming. :P
I had NO CLUE how to go about cutting the damn cake though! XD That's a god awful picture of me btw. :< *sulks*
Anyhow! The rest of the night was utterly pwnsome too! :D After the meal, we wandered around town for a bit and eventually came across a neat little bar down a random street. It was nice, but they charged me 11.50 for one cocktail. 0__0 Of course me, being the economically savvy person that I am, didn't realise this till after I paid and had downed half the glasses contents. -.-; /fails
But that aside, the night was still awesome! XD And Saturday was just as epic. As ye probably already know, I ordered a Macbook Pro for my birthday (and just as an FYI, I did end up getting the Applecare Protection Plan. A big thanks to everyone who offered me some advice on that front :3 *hugs*) - but when I placed the order, the receipt said it probably wouldn't arrive till the 14th. I was absolutely grand with this though, and didn't mind waiting... BUUUT. Guess what arrived almost a week early, and was sitting wrapped and ready to be devoured on the morning of the 10th? 8DDD Rest assured, there was much flailing, squeeing, glomping, and so forth. <33
And when I opened naboru_narluin's parcel as well, it was all I could do to keep from running in circles of hyperactive squeeing!! XD Oh god, it's just so cute! She sent me the most adorable metallic lunch box with an squishably cute robot on the front, and filled to the brim with assorted goodies!! <333 *HUGGLES FOREVER* Thank you SOO much hun!! I couldn't love it more! x3
I also went out with the family on Saturday night, and that was tons of fun too! :D All in all, the past weekend has been nothing short of awesome! I actually got a little emotional on Saturday afternoon. :S It's not often I tear up outside of watching a sad movie, but I was just so overwhelmed with all the thoughtful gifts and attention, I couldn't help it. I'm not used to that kind of thing! D:
