I was out of work for two weeks which was hard on my pocket book, but i've got a new placement.  I'm still in customer service, but it's much better.  Better pay, better commute, better people and a better job.  So far so good.

i quit on Monday.  it was such a mess there.  have something new in the works.  in the meantime, i drew this portrait of Jonghyun as my way of honoring him.

Well, I'm officially done with the antique store.

Wish me luck.  I hate where i am and need to get out.  i wouldn't mind being fired, but getting a new job and being able to quit the one I'm at first is preferable. 

I've got a nasty uti. They found blood in my urine.  i could barely stand yesterday. Feeling better today.  A bit peeved that my boss never contacted me after several attempts at my part.  i hope i still have a job.  I can't believe after telling him that i had to go to the ER that he never called to see how i was or confirm his receipt of my email ( Read more... )

Things have been crappy; my job has turned sour, my kid has autism and I may have injured my rotator cuff.

Things are bad when you ask your kid to kick your teeth out so you don’t have to go to work.

Finished my first week on the new job.  it’s different from other jobs i’ve had and thankfully, almost entirely free of stress, so far. My boss is nice, let’s me run the show while he’s gone.  he’s got some cool stuff, but it’s hard to entice people to buy antiques nowadays.
