back in canadaland
so, i'm back in antigonish. it's been just over 2 weeks and i've been miserable just about every second of it. if i'd realized how much i'd miss glasgow i would have found myself a shitty cash in hand job so fast back in february. i cannot wrap my mind around the fact that i am not home on holiday and am not returning to scotland in a week or two. i miss everything about that city. i was in halifax for a couple of nights when i first got back and while i was happy to see my friends, i was just so sad i wasn't in glasgow. i don't want to move back to halifax, but where does that leave me? in antigonish at my parent's house. the best plan i've come up with is finding a job here and living bill free and saving money for a few months, so i can go back to glasgow for the month of july. i've been looking into applying to uni in glasgow, however that would require me coming up with over $20 000 per year. the thought of not moving back there breaks my heart, but i've not been able to come up with a reasonable plan. until i find something to distract myself with in this town i will continue to sit and mope and be the type of person i absolutely don't want to be.
i never really posted any pictures of glasgow, so i will now, to make myself even more sad. i'm really smart like that.
