Rose has spent most of the day getting ready for the backyard BBQ. Scott and Steve came over early and helped her grill the steaks, hamburgers, chicken, and hot dogs. She sets out some other things to go with the meat, puts out coolers for people's beverages, and lights the tiki torches surrounding her back yard.

*John takes a moment to look at the result. It felt like a brilliant idea that he had gone out for supplies a week before planned. He didn't think he was going to be able to get as many as he did, and they weren't as many as he wanted, but he was still pretty satisfied.

And oh, did he look forward to having the others find them.

I had some errands to run in the mainland that nobody needs to know about. I heard you liked that boat party I arranged!

So I have been deadly bored with my old blackberry and decided to get an iPhone. It has a much more fashionable interface, much better design and it's definitely a leading phone. I need someone to go to the Apple store in Madagascar for me and pick it up.

I was bored today, so I went out for a hunt. Thought it'd be a good idea to make something we could all share for dinner. Especially given the unpleasant circumstances in which we were all together last time...

Has anyone seen or heard from John Locke? He went off on his own last night (as he is wont to do) and never returned this morning with the rest of the search party.

Perhaps he doesn't know the Island as well as he thought.
