Creepiest way, in your opinion, for the world to end?

So, I'm watching 2010. Well, not watching yet. About to. And obviously this movie deals with the world ending. Natural disasters, blah blah. And I got to thinking about ways that would be creepy for the world to end. Ways I would really like to avoid. Like massive mutated spiders, wiping out the human race, and the rest of the animal race. Only to no longer be able to survive, themselves. With a meteor wiping out Earth! Or what about in the future, all of this computer generated things "we're" creating, like robots and computers, televisions. Starting to be able to think for themselves, and TAKE US DOWN!! D: Then there's the obvious ones. Zombies, Aliens.. CLOWNS. No no, not Clowns. Oh my god not Clowns.
