RUSSIAN AWARD FOR JOHNNY WEIR AND EVGENY PLUSHENKO
JOHNNY WEIR was voted by Russian figure skating fans as "the skater who didn't get what he deserved" and received his award during Mishin Anniversary show with his usual swanlike grace:

Q: Johnny, you just won the nomination of the skater who didn't get what he deserved. How do you feel about that?
A: I think it's amazing, I've never expected such an honor.
Q: We know that you get many gifts from fans. Were there any special ones, and where do you keep them?
A: Home!
Q: Is there anything special? Or what gifts do you usually get?
A: Umm.. flowers!
Q: Flowers? Do you like flowers?
A: Yes! And Cheburashkas!
Q: You Russian fans hope to see you competing in the next season?
A: I also hope so, if I lose weight.
Q: And the last question - what other nomination would you like to win? Maybe best coach or choreographer?
A: Best choreographer!

A: Yes, best Lady Gaga and best makeup!

EVGENI received his award as the best Russian figure skater 2010. Poor bb was very sick during the show, and he was with his bodyguards all the time. So Alena Leonova and Katarina Gerboldt (in the photo on the right) had to sneak their way to give him his prize, and he had to take off his medical mask and he was very worried about not getting them sick.
