 Today marks the twelfth anniversary of the Admiral Duncan nail bomb attack on April 30th 1999 in Soho.

It was one of three nail bomb attacks and killed three people, while 80 were injured.

Yesterday human rights activist and campaigner Peter Tatchell threw himself in front of BNP leader Nick Griffin at the Westminster BBC studios, while Griffin spoke to the press about his letter of invitation to the Queen’s garden party - which had been withdrawn.

In short, using Marmite in an ad, which many within the BNP thought would be a good stunt, backfired badly when Unilever decided to sue.

The Daily Mirror reports today that the party had to privately settle the court claim, and may now face financial ruin.
